Phoney Booth comic page 2
The original idea for this comic came from a commission back in 2015 when I was asked to recreate a scenario from an Underdog cartoon featuring the mind altering Phoney Booth (see here: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/15720780/) The result was enjoyable enough that I was asked to translate the whole situation into a comic page format with a script provided for me. I get intimidated by doing multiple connected storytelling illustrations due to composition and legibility matters but happily I was allowed to modify my usual drawing habits to depict my characters more in line with the classic Underdog look. As a result we have a little bit of fun with my own characters acting out a scene. :D
Page 2 is shown here and close eyes will note that holy cow do comics intimidate me along with the world going topsy turvy for me since page 1 was completed. Here we're introduced to BW, another old character of mine from wayyyy back that I rarely ever draw these days (because I don't know what to do with him or Chester). BW's a little more on the ball than Chester, -but not by much.

I think you did just fine with the comics lay-out. It's just drawing the same characters in different poses, after all. :)
It helps that I didn't come up with the story. Thinking about what characters should be doing in terms of plot and developing interest isn't something I wrap my head around much.
