Did this as a Patreon Idea Hoard pick for a Twitch stream last year for

Taking a character with pre-existing artwork much different than my own style is always such a treat to illustrate. With as many lovely ideas that Aeth threw at me over in The Hoard, I had to take a stab at this one inspired by a real life location with personal significance to the supporter. And what's more fun than plopping a fantasy creature into real life settings? Not much my friends, not much!
Makes me want to revisit old musings of mine involving fantasy creatures in National Parks...

Hmmm i think it quite nice art for multiple of reasons - it is quite bright and naturally looking, the vast and big space looks breathtaking and beautiful as well as gigantic and amazing beast which Aeth undeniably is
I love when customers bring the inspiration, ideas and their vision but most importantly good amount of time to the artists so they can do art and open their full potential. This allows them to produce such a masterpieces like this one more often and comfortably
Awesome art! More realistic landscape and nature definitely increase the sense of this beast being real. Not to mention how organic he looks here with surrounding nature. Just like a living cliff of rock, scales and muscles
