Not every James Bond film had a happy ending. Here on my James Bond 60th anniversary run, I reference On Her Majesty’s Secret Service, the only one to star George Lazenby in the titular role. Though not my fave film in the series it is nice to see it get the respect it deserves.

I love this movie. There's no other Bond quite like it, it's such a slow burn and has a different vibe. Probably not top 5 but I like that they tried something different
The Switzerland film locations were great, I've actually been to the Lauterbrunnen valley where some of it was done :)
Such a sad and iconic scene from the franchise. You did a terrific job on this.
One of my favorites James Bond movies

My Dad was a big Bond fan, collecting several soundtrack albums on LP format.
My Granddad loved James Bond too. Had all the films. They went to me when he passed.
Apparently the director made him reshoot this scene several times, making him naturally act more and more worn out which added to the role. There was even a take where he actually cried that they sadly didn't use.
It's why I like Daniel Craig's bond. He feels the most human and the most realistic. He's not some always-perfect jerk. He has weaknesses and the stress of his job clearly gets to him.
Plus those sweet scenes with a certain little girl in the newest film. He's a rounded person.

George Lazenby was awesome as James Bond. The only reason he didn't do any more Bond films was because his agent convinced him that the secret agent would be archaic in the liberated 1970s.
Pretty much. I think George was good but a little wooden in places. He pulled off the fight scenes very well, and appeared in several king fu movies in the 1970s.
It's definitely not in my top 5 or even in my top 10, but I still enjoy it :)
i mostly like it because its one of the few times things happen that develop James Bond as a character rather then a copy paste spy guy XD
I liked the chemistry between Bond and Tracy, especially when Bond was escaping SPECTRE down the mountain
Nicely done. This one is probably my fave, if not in my top tier list. God, how I wish Lazenby had done more than one. His chemistry with Diana Rigg was electric. Dude actually got a golden globe nod for his performance in this film.
Amazing considering this was his first film role too. I like how he went on to do some martial arts flicks in the 70s.
I like this one because, unlike the rest of the franchise, it follows the book quite accurately.
If Sean Connery was Bond in that movie, this movie would've been ruined as it shows James in a more softer side.
You don’t think Sean could show a softer side? To be fair I haven’t seen him play Bond as soft as Lazenby myself.
My mind actually went to this scene when I heard about Dame Diana Rigg’s real life passing.
This moment is why I see this movie as an underrated gem and why I see Lazenby as one of the best Bond’s we got…
In terms of personal favorite, Lazenby isn’t high on the list. I mainly find him as one of the best for how grounded his version of Bond is. The same reason for Daniel Craig’s version.
One of the saddest scenes in the whole franchise, but also one of the most memorable.
The song sang by Louis Armstrong We have all the time in the world is a very touching song.
