Just chattin' with other birdies today, and a bat around us seemed to want some batty company! So I sketched a lil Owlnard dressing up as a bat, but then it seemed easy to line... and then color... and a quick lazy cave background... and well, there you have it~! Owlnard from behind, dressed as another light-colored back, showing off his wings! Quite convincing, hmm?

Hmm. A bunch of birdie buddies who have a bat pal? Sounds like a remake of Birdz. (Pre-teen friends in this show are a stork, robin, turkey, owl, and a woodpecker with a bat named Sleepy.).
Hehe yeah! It happens in a lot of groups - this group of birds has some other flying buddies, or just other close friends in it. Similarly, my hamster group chat online has folks who just have hamster pets, or other sonas too, so sometimes you'll see other species in dedicated group chats. :3 Just felt like giving the bat some company!
