THE STORY

This is some old jpeg you found scrapping the internet for muscle content. It's from an OVA you've never heard of and Google yields nothing. In short, I am channeling major 90's early 2000's vibes right now! I sat down and told myself I was going to just do 'final touches' and then boom, 6 hours passed yesterday in a blink and it was 1AM.


Overall, I had a lot of fun studying 90-2000 cel shading styles. Making 2-3 confident color choices and then applying blooms is much MUCH harder for me than just doing full grayscale to color renderings.

PS: I just found a tutorial on doing a completely different rendering style, so pre-emptive sorry for the tonal whiplash that may result from my next piece.
