Yay..... I'm so psyched.
I finally got my new office / task chair in the mail this weekend.... and - I can't wait to assemble it and try it out ! ☺
For many years, I've been using an old-school type wooden stool, that I bought from a furniture store many years ago (that was going out of business) - as a seat at my work desk.
And when I first got it, I folded up a bunch of old sheets to make a sort of cushion for it, that I put on top of the stool.... and - that's basically been my office seat for a very long time. ☺
Of course - using old sheets meant that I had to occasionally wash and re-fold them all (I don't know how many times) over the years - for my "seat cushion".
And if I remember right - I paid about twenty bucks for it all back then (well over fifteen years ago)..... and I'm still using it today. ☺
But this past month - we recently moved into a new apartment here in San Francisco, (that's in a different neighborhood now).... and I figure - now that we're living in a new (and bigger) apartment means that I can also "move on up" - in the task chair department. ☺
So I bought this on eBay for about forty dollars last week; that's worth well over one-hundred at retail..... and I'm quite pleased with it (at least financially) so far.
And I'm hoping that it'll feel as good as it looks.
My old work stool incidently - will now be an extra seat at the new table we're getting near the kitchen area.
