Take a look a this marvelous, splendorous, ridiculous cacomixtle girl I finished a while ago for an old friend of mine.
Funny story, I actually started this drawing 1 year, and it was nearly done, but then one thing came up, then another, then another and I simply couldn't find the time to finish it until now! 😅 Well, I hope the delay was worth it!
The cacomixtle is a mammal of the raccoon family that inhabits the tropical forests of North America and Central America, from Mexico to Panama. It's sometimes called "Ringtail" or "Bassarisk" but I like the Nahuatl origin (tlahcomiztli) that means "half cat". 🐱
