Atem is very loyal to Arceus, despite Arceus knowing he hangs out in the underworld.

Pamp Gods (Allies)

Despite Atem making Underworld trips, they are happy to welcome him to the afterlife, and willing to let someone from Paradise and the angelic city go with him to earth for a day.

Pamp Angels

Since some of the angelic pamp army don't want to reincarnate, they often ask him what it's like on earth or what their family's are up to, since they can't return to earth if he summoned them there.


Quicksilver Family

Atem happily makes visits to the Quicksilver family in the angelic city, but mostly to keep them up to date with the kids they never got to raise.

Pamp Devils

Atem is close friends with some of the pamp devils, only because his fortunes predicted some of the demons would get new souls to torment in their realms of the underworld. They enjoy his cruel personality shift and enjoys joining some of the demons to have fun with the condemned. In exchange they give him pamp devil tarot cursed cards.

Greed (Employer)

When Greed returned to reclaim his throne as one of the underworlds rulers, When Atem tells him of a new soul coming to his realm, he shows gratitude by giving a pamp devil Greed curse card in exchange for some poke.

Kikyo (Mixed feelings)

He admires that Kikyo is priestess and a shrine maiden along with being a messenger to the pamp gods. Doesn't appreciate using personal items belonging to the deceased to summon them for a few hours. Making him glad his powers overpowers hers.

Sandayu (Amusing)

Atem foresaw Sandayu being condemned and the Dark plate being destroyed, but Sandayu mocked and ignored him, like several others. Whichever part of the underworld Sandayu ends up, Atem will be watching with a Sinister grin on his face.

Atem has actually seen some of Sandayus goons in the underworld thanks to Magus sending them there with his demon Scythe. Many begged Atem to do something, but he watches and enjoys while the pamp demons have their fun.

Yoko Venom

Yoko was thinking of betraying his father and joining Sandayu, but Atem gave his fortune and chose the card of tragedy. If he betrays his father and joins Sandyu. Mako will disown him and even throw him in prison, Yoko ignored it and joined Sandayu.

Bio

His Alter Ego

After solving the millenium puzzle, he gained access to Shadow powers and holds pamp Shadow and punishment games, challenging others dare to oppose him or rip him off. Can subject others to his paml games in his little realm just above the underworld, lovers end up horribly traumatized.

Mercury's egg

Atem made his way to the Lugia village as he foresaw something tragic, knowing he won't be able to stop it, he tried to at least save one lugia. He convinced the Quicksilver family to hand one of their eggs over to the Kanto Trio as he'll be destined for greatness, so the family turned over the egg of the first egg laid, Mercury Quicksilver.

Encounter with Zazzy

Several months passed and Siwa fell and the Lugia village was razed by the Dark Gator Pirates, but foresaw that Mercury survived.
Foresaw a vision of a horrible thing happening to a good pokemon. Before Zazzy went on with his job, Atem gave him a fortune, if he goes through with it, he'll end up with a lot of guilt. Zazz of course ignored it and went off, Atem flipped over the Card of tragedy and shook his head.

After Zazzy failed to catch Sandoku who turned out to be helpless and weak, went back and apologized because it was true, he couldn't stop feeling guilty. He told him his client lied to him and sought her out somewhere in the forest. After finding out the truth, he went to him one last time and asked for his three card Fortune, his destiny was to meet a Lugia as it'll lead him to a better life.

Encounter with Seth Leif

Several years went by and The three island kingdoms won the war and Kroko lost and was put on trial. As Seth was making his way to the courthouse, Atem offered him a fortune for free since it would be a big decision with consequences. Seth decided to humor him, Seth wanted to no Card of Destiny as he has a feeling what his Atem de idea is to flip over the Card of tragedy. He tried to tell Seth, bit Seth already knew and left.
His fortune came true as after Seth sold Kroko out, he became enemy no. 1 on several hit lists and made countless enemies. With Seth being banned from Siwa, he decided to exile himself from the island kingdoms and never return.

Meeting with Deliah Leif

With Kroko found guilty, Atem felt a little bad for Seth, but foresaw a bright light in his future. He made his way to the Air Continent where he saw Dekiah Leif, still sad and upset about Seth's Fate. Atem offered her a fortune, which she decided to take because she wanted to hear something good. He told her that something precious and dear to her would return to her. She looked down on it at first believing Seth was gone.

The following rainy stormy night, the prediction came true as Seth returned to her I've, but emotionally destroyed, but she didn't care as Seth returned to her. Wishing she could apologize to Atem for doubting, but he just saw from the shadows of the trees with a smile on his face about how happy she was.

Encounter with Venus Quicksilver

Atem finally settled in Siwa near an Oasis where he foresaw Venus looking for her dear brother Mercury, so she made her way to the Oasis as rumors flew that he could find anyone and anything. She showed him Mercury's baby picture and he told her to show the picture to a Kyogre as he'd know more.

After meeting the Kyogre, Venus was Reunited with her brother Mercury and even shocked to see that she has another brother, a Shadow Lugia named Lavender. From Atems crystal ball he saw a happily Reunited Quicksilver Family, but gave birth to a tragedy Card after Mercury and Lavender filled her in on what happened.


Meeting Andrea

Despite his dislike for Kroko and the Dark Gator Pirates, he decided to humor Andrea due to the advice she took from Venus. His three card Fortune foresaw only a tragedy as Mercury won't forgive her, no matter how sorry she was. She decided not to listen to Atem as she wanted to try due to how awful she felt. As she left he flipped over the Card of tragedy which came true.

The card showed gum Mercury viciously assaulting her and even breaking her nose. Despite taking a petty forgiveness, he told her to give up, but she wanted to try, Atem told her to hold onto a lost cause as Mercury never gonna forgive her. She decided she'd try to prove him despite foreseeing her never succeeding and possibly ending up in prison.

Meeting Magus Shinto

From his crystal ball, he saw the Sand Kingdom overthrown by a group of evil pokemon under the influence of the pamp devil of greed. However, he saw that there was a survivor of the massacre and went off to see him.

Magus awoke several days later and wanted to take down all 13 pokemon, but Atem intervened and told him that the magic guild was annihilated and the Sand Kingdom overthrew the monarchy and even abandoned Arceus. Magus didn't care as he wanted revenge, but told him he'd would someday, so Magus decided to try the famous three card Fortune and was surprised Magus' card of Fate had two winding paths.

Magus could either live with a bunch of strangers he doesn't know or remember, or he can go to the Crown and find others just like him. Magus decided to head to the crown Reef where he eventually became a family member to the ragtah Rogues, Magus looked up to the sky to thank Atem, which he saw from his crystal ball.

Meeting Yoko Venom

Yoko was approached by Sandayu and convinced him to Betray his father Mako, his mother Charla and 1200 siblings, finding Sandayu to be more enjoyable and doesn't approve of his father's personality, and wanted to think it over.
He saw Atem and wanted to get his fortune read as he was confused about what to do, so he got his three card Fortune. The car of Fate showed he really wanted to join Sandayu, but the card of tragedy showed Mako disowning him and locking him up forever.

Yoko decided to ignore that since he knows his father will always love him, even if Mako doesn't express or show himself. After Yoko joined Sandayus crew, Atem viewed the card and saw Mako locking Yoko up and walking away while his heartbroken mother just left him in his cell. Atem had a feeling that Yoko better find a way to redeem himself in prison, because if he didn't, then the next time Atem would see him is in the underworld with Sandayu and the rest of his goons.
