I will say, I love SAI 2 vs Sai1 much better because it has quite a few more tools than the original! It also has a recovery tool as well that saves your progress as you go, so if the program crashes or your laptop. Which I find to be the BIGGEST thing I have found to love on SAI 2 !~ You may lose a small amount of progress if it didn't get the last few minutes of work. But you can honestly save 99% of your work that is unsaved. Biggest life saver!
