This commission was drawn by endermoonfur! You can check it out in their gallery here. Haven"t they made Adhara look so dangerous and scary? :3 The moonlight casting that glow on her looks so cool!
Night isn"t the time to be out and about in unfamiliar lands, not even with the full moon up there providing plenty of light. It"s still hard to see well, and new places can be treacherous, with unexpected terrain and who knows what creatures to encounter.
Like a dragon.
Granted, you don"t want to see a dragon during the day either, as they"re rarely pleased to find visitors at the best of times, but moving around at night would suggest to one that you want to move with stealth, and that stealth is more likely to be bad for them than good. Sneaking around to hide, to steal, to harm? They"re not going to wait and find out, they"re going to drive you away... and the instant you spot this one, you know you"re in trouble. She"s not exactly hiding: right at the peak of the mountain with her wings up and the moon behind her, the cool glow is enough to see the stripes of her scales, let alone the fierce intent in her eyes, spread frills, and bared fangs. Her claws dig into the rock, and her whole body is coiled like a spring, powerful muscles just waiting for the right moment to send her rushing towards the intruders she"s spotted.
No roar is necessary: she knows she"s been seen, if anything she wanted to be seen. She wanted to see you freeze in dread, to fear your mistake and to fear her, and that"s just what she gets, her paws adjusting to get that perfect grip to launch and her eyes alight with intent. She does not care for trespassers, she knew you were on her lands, and now she"s found you.
Adhara launches herself from the mountain like a rocket, far faster than you can hope to run. All you can do is hope the fierce dragoness will give you the mercy of retreat...

I dunno if it'd fool her, but she might at least be appeased by your fright!
What if I maintain eye contact for longer than is awkward... then just shrug and keep walking?
I imagine one of a few things: a confused tilt of the head leading to her following me trying to get that look of dread in my eyes; a swift strike to create the terror missing in her sighted prey; or she does a shrug herself and goes to look for other victims of her terror...

This approach is not advisable, that's just asking her to knock you down directly >.>
Then it actually is good advice. Easier to boop that snoot when she's topping you ;)
"Oh, well that's just great. I run into her the one time she isn't tied up"
Anyone hoping to sneak through her territory better learn her kinky-time schedule first, and move accordingly
Such a fearsome beastttt ; v ; really looking intimidating in the moonlight! Hope she shows mercyyyy, I'm sorry for all the latex and roppppe eeeee ; v ;
The overall lighting of the moon on everything is superb, especially the way it lights up her eyes. Very pretty piece here!
Put up some signs if you get mad over people entering your territory! Not everyone knows that a an easily angered dragoness lives here!
Her territorial boundaries are perfectly clear!
..to dragons. Maybe other creatures need to work on recognizing the signs of dragons better. >.>

Other creatures would like warning signs posted otherwise lawsuits are coming!
Adhara is really too beautiful and very sexy. I love its green color and its stripes on its back they remind me of those of my dragon Apophis 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Thanks! Her stripes are really striking and endermoonfur made her look great :D
