The Earthlings on Earth have a nice season of warmth and sunlight for themselves this time of year. Though the Neku'o may be lacking their own warm seasonal period. Their planet a much farther distance of Earth and thus much more cooler. A summer day might see a cozy temperate 70 degrees Fahrenheit, or 20 degrees Celsius, but then the night comes a plummets down to -100 degrees F, or 73 degrees C. A very strong contrast to the more warmer climates of Earth this time of year yes! How lucky the Earthlings.
That's not even including winter. You may need plenty of hot cocoa for a martian holiday season.
After eons of living in frigid temperatures, they have become rather acclimated with their year long winter wonderland. If the Earthlings thought to colonize this 'barren' planet anytime soon, they better bring some coats with them though. It should help with the cold. They may also wish to bring something that helps protect against plasma. Although that heats you up very nicely, it's also pretty painful.. owie ouch.
