A new dragon character that I adopted from  Furayob and have been meaning to post sooner, but been getting distracted from naming him and thinking up most of the basic details for him.

I've decided to name him Halvar, which in Norse means "guardian of the rock".


(Info for him is a work in progress, so apologies if it's a bit rough)
Age: 47

Likes: Beautiful sceneries. Visiting and meditating under a certain old tree. Exploring new lands. Visiting his former master. A specific meal made by his adoptive mother.

Dislikes: Certain vegetables. People desecrating the old tree. Disrespectful behaviour. Bandits and raiders. Freezing weather (ironically).


Halvar comes from a small kingdom in the northern artic regions, past a massive wall of snowy mountains. There he resides as a mighty guardian of said kingdom, serving an Earthen God as a noble servant and mighty general.

At a young age, he was an orphan who lived in the streets of the kingdom. With no home or family to return to.
He was found by the captain of the kingdom's guards who later took him under his wing, having him clean the barracks, the stables and assisting in the kitchen. All while training him to defend himself if he ever got into trouble.
He was later adopted by the captain and his wife, raising him and Halvar's adoptive siblings. He was treated as one of them, cared for and taught many things throughout his new life.

Later in life he would become a strong and capable warrior for the kingdom. Defending from raiders and rising threats from the western north regions. As well as spending time with his adoptive family and friends around the kingdom, and visiting an old tree within one of the city's gardens that his foster father would take him to and explain his family and the kingdom's tales and history.
