Isn't her puppy cute? :P lol
I can't remember the last time I drew a kid..This has be the first one in 3 years at least. >< Kids and chibi/cute things are my kryptonite.
Was looking at the sketch I did and was thinking "I wanna try to do something more", then I did this. lol Took me forever to get a fur pattern I liked that had blue in it. Did another one where the chest area is either really dark hair(and short) or to the skin... but with the kid holding the leash just looked wrong. >_>
Nothing is final So I could change the colors drastically, the background, the clothes, the fur pattern, etc.
I am considering painting this as if it were a screenshot form a Ghibli movie.
Anyways, its 7:30 AM and I'm going to bed. Lots of school shit to do tomorrow.

Now that's one little girl who won't be worried taking a walk at night :3 Awesome subject.
I would like to have a puppy like that. A good bed warmer for those cold winter nights.

...yet, in this case, is doubtlessly capable of so very much more.
I've always loved that little passive idea. To call something like a tall, strong, well-endowed werewolf your beloved "puppy," or to call what is "a god among felines" your "kitten." People love this theme because it implies a sense of innocence about a creature who's very body language alludes to an obviously more daunting level of capability, yet the creature is referred to the likes of a creature that is much less intimidating. It's a surefire ticket to an eventual "Rule #34" -ing of the character simply because the realistic implications surrounding them are much, much more in-depth, and much too beautiful to go unrealized to any extreme extent.
I love this, and love what inspires its kind even more.
