Got to be one of the best gryphon characters I've seen designed. She's pretty much got it all: Lively expression and personality, very good design, and the choice of species is wonderful. RL Blue Jays are loaded with personality, pretty damn smart, and I would expect a Blue Jay gryphon like Tess to be no different.
