I've posted multiple Total Drama/Scooby-Doo casts on scratchpad (majority consisting of some of the movies) and I simply feel so proud of who I casted. Not only are my casted choices of Total Drama characters perfect for the Scooby-Doo cast character-wise, most actually are perfect aesthetic-wise. With that aforementioned statement, let us begin my explanations for each casted character-

Scooby-Doo- Owen
Both love to eat and often pull through whether it's to solve a mystery or win a challenge. Even though Shaggy feels more like the lead, Scooby's name makes for a better theme song and Scooby just makes for a better mascot of the titular franchise him being a dog and all. Plus, Owen is the writer's pet when it comes to Total Drama. He won the first season canonically, was brought back in Action (rightfully, mind you since Courtney unfairly returned to the game and voted him off) and is usually the one used in promos and affiliates when it's not Chris in said promos and affiliates.

Shaggy Rogers- Shawn
Shaggy is afraid of ghosts, monsters and whatnot, Shawn is terrified and always alert of zombies. PERFECT casting choice.

Fred Jones- Trent
Initially on scratchpad, I had casted Don as Fred Jones having seen a piece on dA here with him in the latter's clothing, not to mention I find Fred's voice would suit Don, but upon having seen the history of casting of Total Drama/Scooby-Doo, Trent as Fred just made so much sense. They're the most normal of their respective casts and are often thrown shade for that trait resulting sadly in them not being very interesting for some.

Daphne Blake- Dakota
Daphne is all about fashion and beauty and comes from a rich family. Plus, in a home video of her as a little girl shown in a Boomerang commercial, she even states she wants to be a supermodel. Fits Dakota to a 't'. Dakota aspires to be famous and detests getting filthy and doing work as would Daphne. A match made in TD/SD-casting heaven.

Velma Dinkley- Ellody
Even though Beth would have been the best choice at first, Ellody has every right to be Velma. Their IQs are incredible and Ellody would just be more competent as long as she doesn't over-complicate plans in a mystery like she and Mary did when they thought they needed data for a sandcastle in "Mediterranean Homesick Blues".
