Instead, I brought her to a different building, it was an old guest house that went unused, generally, for years. I occasionally used it as a storage barn, but there was a bed inside, so it was at least somewhat useful for her purposes.
As soon as I opened the door and gestured inside, the kobold saw the bed and immediately perked up, finally giving up her broom once I pointed at the bed. To alleviate a little bit of remaining concern, I placed the broom right next to the door, so she'd have easy access to it in the morning. Heck, she might even have wanted to sweep this place up at dawn.
