This is Dakota the first dog that I fully remember from when I was a kid. A few weeks ago we had to put him down. He was blind, deaf and had lost his bottom row of teeth. He was a good dog (more cat like tho he was like 6lbs at his heaviest and slept about 22hrs a day) But he did live a happy and long life. He was 13 years old.

*nods* well my parents live back in Minnesota and I'm over here in Maryland so it wasn't all that hard for me but I know it was for my mom

i miss my husky,rot,g-shep,doberman and pitbull :/ they all got along so well and they all slept on or near me ^_^

My condolences on your loss, I know how it feels. I had a dog from when he was a pup he lived for a ripe old 14 years of age but he developed cancer and he had to be put to sleep. R.I.P Dakota
Im sorry for your loss, i know it hurts when something you love as much as family has to go. Its been a couple of years since my dog died form a stomach problems, i still look at the pictures every now and again and all the memorys come back.
Yeah I look at his pic every now and then too. Sorry to hear about your dog

awwwwwww nooooo Dakota was a super sweet dog!!! Sorry to hear buddy!! It sucks alot to lose a dog!! I bet you remember how i was when i lost jake. *hugs super tight*

awww, he looks just like my old dog only white, we had to give him away due to moving to a house that didn't allow animals =(
