Since I don't watch the show I didn't want to assume things lol
I love Smithers so much. He deserves to be happy with Mr. Burns
I would rather have him with someone else, Burns essentially raised him so it's a bit creepy lol
Burns didn't raise him. The episode "The Blunder Years" only shows Burns holding him, not promising to take him in or anything, and most signs point towards Smithers being raised by a single mother. Besides, the episode implies Smithers is younger than Homer when most episodes show that he is older than Homer, so its veracity is debatable.
