Introducing Alessia! She is an unknown species of lizard and will step in as our manager/boss lady character for the comic!
Now onto the story!
This story can apply to any one job but specifically came from a friend who hadnt contributed yet to my group funnily enough!
In the comic you can see the unknown coworker calling off for bruising their shoulder and then catching covid and then still having covid weeks later.
The actual story isnt too far off, the coworker called off for various stupid reasons that wouldnt keep them from doing their job only to eventually quit for a "wtf is this even real" reason
So yeah, um dont be a coworker that cant be bothered to show up, cuz it only makes it harder for the people around you to cover your shift as retail jobs are notorious for understaffing everyone
I will be putting out a new comic at the beginning of the month and I will attempt to put one out in the middle as well as much as I am able! Thanks for your patience

I’ve been lucky to not have coworkers like this, but I’ve definitely heard the horror stories!
Worst Coworker I had even remotely like this 'needed' Saturdays and Sundays off. Didn't put it down on their application, didn't mention it during the interview, but suddenly next Sunday they were scheduled 'Oh I need it off for babysitting', Ah well you gotta talk to Manager about that. Manager comes out 'They work around us - Well it's Religious then.'
