Bummer. It happens. I am a music major myself (a double major actually). Music is eating my life right now. I take that back - Music History is eating my life. Stick with the band, have some fun, cliché comment, etc.

This is great! But it sounds like you cut out some of the low frequencies, or maybe it's just that the bass is mostly on the right channel.. i think it might have a more pleasant sound with some more bass on the left too :)
I record in mono, and I give the effect of Stereo by putting some tracks through mostly one speaker and some the other, so the bass (guitar at least) is always in one speaker more than the other. My software puts this on a little dial, and for some reason even a slight lean to one side or the other decimates the sound in the opposite speaker.
