'Dawn was an old friend to the early rising doe. It's pale, golden light broke through the clouds. It was a favorite spectacle of the awaking day for it-it's light crossing through the window's glass boundaries to wish her a fair morning. Inside the brick and stone bakery was a busy buzzy of movement and activity. Dough was worked in ceramic bowls, icing pipped into crusts and layers, and batter folded and poured into metal tins for the hot ovens. Warm air from the blazing ovens reached every inch of the currently empty bakery, dusted with flour and scented with melted chocolate as she worked. More friends to keep her company in the early hours of the day till the setting of the sun that marked closing.
To those who believe the life of a baker was relaxing would be in the wrong. It was anything but relaxing. But through all this hard work the reward was the greatest one could ever mimic elsewhere. Fresh, soft loafs of bread sat with patience in the baskets behind the counter; flaky, buttery croissants lay piled in baskets next to plates of sweetened fruit tarts and whole cream filled cakes in the forward facing display cases. Creation for consumption was a passion for Fia. Something she made for the wellbeing of another. It's what drives her to rise from her comfy bed and work elbow deep in sticky ingredients.'
I'm so sleepy while making this so...don't look too closely.
I can't believe I haven't gotten a piece with Fianna with an apron and I'm so ashamed of myself! Here is one that Anton designed and I love it so much! It's for something with his character's world, she's a baker in a bakery!
