Pokemon Gray Edition Chapter 2: First day and first problem
It was early in the morning, the wild pokemon that inhabited the routes and surroundings began to wake up to start a new day. While everyone woke up some tired from work or sleep and others woke up calm and relaxed. Nate just opened his eyes and began to get up from his bed with encouragement and happiness, because only the day before he had received his first pokemon.
-A new day, my adventure begins- Nate murmured happily
Normally Nate would put on his casual clothes to have another day in his life, but now that he had his first pokemon. He finally decided to wear a couple of special clothes that his uncle had given him, Nate with some enthusiasm put on the gray cap with the pokeball logo, a thin fabric sweater, sweatpants and a pair of white tennis shoes. Nate finished putting on his Adventure clothes, adventures that he would now begin to experience in the company of his Charmander.

Nate once prepared, took the pokeball where his charmander was and decided to take it out to see how it was. The charmander when leaving the pokeball, she dedicated a smile to her when she saw her trainer. "Good morning, Chari," Nate said happily, stroking his partner's head.
The charmander was glad to feel how her trainer caressed her. "Are you ready to go on an adventure?" Nate asked happily.
The happy charmander nodded her head, as soon as nate saw his partner's response, Nate stretched his body for a moment and helped his partner get ready, putting "adventure clothes" on the charmander, basically clothes that a person usually wears. I would put on exercise. This did not bother the charmander because that way she could have a closer connection with her trainer, because from the first time she saw him, she felt something special.
"Now we're ready, let's go!" Nate exclaimed happily as he opened the door to his room.

Nate with enthusiasm and happiness ran at full speed to the entrance of his house, in the company of his charmander to go on adventures. As soon as the young boy tried to open the door, he was interrupted by his mother's voice. "Son, aren't you going to eat?" Said his mother who began to prepare breakfast in the company of bom bom
Nate thought about it for a moment with his partner and they decided to eat a little, well thinking about it a bit. It didn't sound like such a good idea to go out without eating, as soon as Nate's mom finished preparing the food and everyone could start eating. Nate and his partner were starting to eat breakfast, both of them being happy and enjoying the food. Even though Nate and Chari enjoyed the food, her mom was a little insecure inside, because she had a bad feeling about all this. This bad feeling, perhaps it was because of the past experiences that her mother experienced or it was her maternal sense that she did not want to let her son leave the house to live dangerous adventures. She somehow tried to convince herself that her son would not have the same fate as those who supported her in her dream of being a coach.
But what if something happens to her... I swear to God she wouldn't forgive me- She said in her worried thoughts, trying not to break during breakfast
She tried to avoid crying or breaking down, she tried to talk a little with her son, because she would not know if that moment would be the last time she would see him alive or healthy and safe. -So... today is the day-said his mother with a tone of false happiness
-Yes mom, finally today I'll be a coach... I'm very happy- Nate said somewhat happily
"I see that…" Mom sighed.
Despite trying to talk, an interesting topic or something appropriate to talk did not come up. A moment that, from the young boy's point of view, was a moment of tranquility and happiness, but for his mother, it was a somewhat melancholy and to a certain point depressive moment.
It didn't take long for both Nate and Chari to finish eating breakfast, now almost ready to go on adventures outside. Something that his mother in a subtle but useless way tried to lengthen the farewell. "Aren't you going to brush your teeth?" Mom asked.

-Ah that's right, come with me chari, let's just go to the bathroom and we'll go out- Nate said unconcerned
As soon as Nate went to the bathroom with Chari, Nate's mom pulled out of her purse enough money for her son to buy things while out on adventures. If your son was going to be out, he wouldn't be without some money to buy something to eat or something important. All these "attempts" to delay Nate were useless and pointless, but presumably a mother would do anything to have her son close for even one more minute.
*a half hour later*
Nate was now finally about to leave the house, already having everything prepared thanks to his mother, who put everything necessary inside the adventure backpack. From not only the empty pokeballs that your child would use, but clothes, small emergency snacks, a sheet and among other things. All this coming despite a little bit for the young boy despite having a somewhat specialized backpack for adventures. -Goodbye mom, take care!-Nate said happily
"Goodbye, son, take care!" He said with a false tone of happiness.
As soon as they said goodbye, Nate and Chari left the house, both being greeted by sunlight and wind. The outside environment was relaxed and pleasant, something that for the young boy was a sign that everything will be fine, so without further delay, both the young trainer and his pokemon decided to start the trip, now reaching the rock-type gym, which was crossing the green forest.
-Chari before we start, this is the plan- Said the young coach to his charmander
The charmander began to listen carefully to her trainer's plan.


-The plan is this, first we will train in the green forest. Well, the first gym is a rock type and we are at a disadvantage... but don't worry, if Red was able to beat the gym... then we have a chance-Nate said Nate continued explaining his plan to his partner, which in simple words was to fight with many wild pokemon and rest for a while. All that until she becomes strong enough to defeat or resist the rock-type gym pokemon. Before he could even continue explaining, they were interrupted by the sound of tall grass moving, indicating that something was coming out of it. -Chari… Let's get ready- Nate said pointing to the tall grass From the tall grass stood out the first wild pokemon they would both face. A simple ratata just curiously peeking out of the grass, while the ratata saw both of them. A fight began that the poor ratata did not expect. -Chari uses embers!-Nate ordered his charmander The charmander without doubting her trainer's order, used the "Embers" movement towards the ratata, which could not react in time and received the attack directly. As surprising as it sounded, the attack was so strong and surprising that it left the wild pokemon quite weak. Before the ratata could counterattack.. -now use scratch!- The charmander without letting the pokemon counterattack, pounced on it; starting to give a couple of scratches to the ratata. Which without being able to do anything, in a matter of a couple of minutes was completely weakened, falling to the ground unconscious. -Wow that was very impressive chari!-Congratulated the naive coach Before Nate could pull out a pokeball to catch the ratata, a pair of wild ratatas burst out of the grass and quickly snatched up the unconscious pokemon. "Oh that's... a pity?" Nate said somewhat confused

-But you were something incredible- Nate said to his charmander
The charmander listening to her trainer being happy, seeing him impressed by easily defeating the first wild pokemon they faced. All this made her happy and joyful to see that her coach was starting off well. Well, she still remembers how the night before, her coach talked with enthusiasm and enthusiasm about the dream of being the best pokemon trainer, while her coach slept, before she went to sleep. She reflected and decided to try to make her coach fulfill that dream.
-We have to continue chari, let's go for the others- Nate said enthusiastically to his pokemon
That confrontation with the wild ratata was only the first of several consecutive fights with several pokemon. Fighting against rats, pidgeys, caterpies and other wild pokemons, something that although for any other trainer was something normal but for Nate it was his dream beginning to come true. With each fight that was made, Chari became little by little stronger, more pokemons were being weakened. It could be said that the wild pokemons in the area that did not face the trainer with his charmander, only listened as he exclaimed orders and congratulations. Stuff from:

-Use smoke screen
-Quick chari, dodge and use embers!

They were things that could be heard in the distance, the wild pokemons that were witnesses of the combats, began to have a particular impression on that charmander. Well, unlike other pokemon or charmanders they have seen, they could swear that the charmander of that young naive boy was unusually stronger. They didn't know if this was anything else because that charmander and young boy started fights unexpectedly and quickly.

*a couple of hours later*
-Congratulations Chari, we are heading in the right direction- I congratulate nate
The charmander gave him a smile while trying to recover from the fatigue of the last fight they had with a wild pokemon. Both adventurers were already in the middle of the green forest, they had already spent a couple of hours fighting with some pokemons, because apparently it was beginning to become difficult to find wild pokemon. Well, these began to hide from the young boy, for fear of facing that charmander or being caught by a pokeball. "We must rest for a moment" Nate said as he lay down on one of the trees in the forest
The charmander, seeing her trainer lying down, decided to accompany him to recover her energy. Unknowingly though, they were beginning to rest unaware that there was a somewhat fearful female caterpie hiding above them.
"Don't let them see me...don't let them see me" the chubby caterpie murmured in her language when she saw the adventurers lying down.
Nate, unaware of the presence of the caterpie that looked at them from above the tree, decided to give his charmander a little hug, which corresponded and decided to return the hug. "Do you want to eat something?" Nate said to his charmander.

The caterpie witnessed a tender moment for both adventurers, something that contrasted a lot with what they had been doing for a couple of hours. Well, it was a bit strange to see how that duo that left several wild pokemon weakened and knocked out in large quantities, it was strange to see them coexist from their point of view of the caterpie. If the caterpie was very lucky, capable of both not noticing her presence, it was enough for one of the two to look up for her to notice her presence.
The caterpie, not wanting to get any closer to both adventurers, carefully began to move away from them. Trying not to make any noise or something that would alert them, the caterpie carefully slipped from the branches. Although unfortunately and as if it were a bad joke, the branch that the caterpie was on broke. The caterpie fell in front of Nate and Chari who were starting to eat a couple of snacks that their mom had given them. They both stared at the caterpie, who, noticing that they had both seen her, recovered from the fall and began to tremble with fear, tremors that the duo of adventurers interpreted as hunger. The young man nate believing that the fearful caterpie was hungry. He decided to offer her some food.

-Do you want a little little one?-Nate said approaching the scared caterpie
The caterpie, being too scared, believed that the young human would hurt her, so she decided to start running away as fast as the caterpie could. The young boy didn't even try to chase the frightened caterpie, which in its attempt to escape tripped over a small rock, falling to the ground scared and funny. "I guess you're not hungry" Nate said noticing what happened
Charmander gave a naive little giggle as the caterpie stumbled, the duo preferring to continue lounging in the tree, eating more of the food and admiring the tranquil forest scenery. They both simply stayed resting and resting before continuing training. Although his rest did not last long when he saw a young boy who was dressed in casual clothes approaching. -Hello, what are you doing?- Asked the young boy something curious
-Well, we are training, although now we are resting for a moment- Nate said naively
"Oh I see" answered the boy interested
The young boy took out of a pokeball, a male pikachu that was dressed almost the same as his trainer. "Well, I wanted to know if we could have a quick fight," said the young boy defiantly.

Nate and Chari were surprised by the proposal, something that they could well reject but thinking about it for a moment... it was time to test if the training they had had was bearing fruit. "Well... in that case," Nate said, standing up again next to his charmander.
Both nate and chari got into position, stopping resting and now preparing to fight. "We accept the fight" Nate said enthusiastically
-My name is mark and well...let the duel begin!-said the opposing coach defiantly
Both trainers and pokemon prepared to fight.
-Go ahead Spark, use thunderbolt!-Mark said to his pikachu
The pikachu without hesitation, fired a small discharge of energy towards the charmander
-Fast chari, dodge and counter attack with smoke screen! – answered Nate
The charmander tried to dodge the thunderbolt but the attack hit her directly, although with some luck the charmander managed to perform the movement that her trainer asked her to do. Making pikachu disoriented by smoke
-Spark uses fast attack!-Mark said to his pikachu

The pikachu tried to see where the charmander was, but because of the little dense smoke that there was, it didn't let him see very well. Something that chari took advantage of when attacking with the dragon breath movement, something that surprised both trainers.
-Wow I didn't know you could do that!- Nate said impressed
The Charmander happily listening to her trainer distracted her for a moment, a moment that Mark's Pikachu took advantage of to use the Fast Attack move and then use the Thunder Wave move to try to paralyze the Charmander. –Bravo spark!, now use…
Mark couldn't finish his order when the charmander countered again with embers, leaving small flames engulfing the pikachu.
-Use electro ball!-Mark said when he saw his pokemon being burned by small flames that covered the pikachu
The pikachu charged a small ball of electricity and without hesitation, shot said electric ball towards the charmander, who tried to dodge the ball but due to the paralysis she couldn't. Because of the paralysis, the charmander was accurately hit by the ball of electricity. Falling something weak to the ground. As the stunned charmander fell to the ground, as she began to feel how the pikachu dealt her a couple of tackles, not letting her recover from the ground, a strange feeling began to arise inside the charmander.

"Hey, don't be so aggressive either!" Nate claimed when he saw that the pikachu began to attack Chari intensely.
The charmander while being hit by the pikachu's attacks, could see for a moment her trainer scared and worried to see how they were giving her a great beating. She began for some reason to feel a little helpless that the pikachu is beating her, she began to feel humiliated. - Don't stop spark!, it's already ours-Mark said happily with an unexpected malice
With each hit that the male pikachu gave the charmander, Chari began to feel helpless as well as a strange feeling. While each time she felt like she was close to knocked out, seeing everything blurry and not feeling much of her body. A strange sensation began to arise, his heart began to beat fast and at an unusual rhythm. As he listened to his trainer's voice pleading for the pikachu and the trainer to stop, an adrenaline rush, an inner strength began to surge, a strength that he began to gain suddenly.
-Finish her!-exclaimed victorious mark
-Nooo!- Nate cry of impotence
Before the Pikachu could land the finishing blow to defeat the badly injured Charmander, surprisingly Chari managed to get up and began to land several strong scratches, which began to turn into powerful punches. All of this surprised both trainers, Nate feeling admiration and surprise at seeing Chari's strength and potential. Although mark felt impressed but frustrated.

-Spark uses…
Before Mark could finish speaking, Chari gave the Pikachu one last final attack. Directly and critically scoring the Dragon Breath move. Leaving the badly wounded Pikachu unconscious and lying on the ground. The charmander after defeating the pikachu, tried to breathe to recover energy but due to fatigue and physical pain along with the momentary paralysis, she ended up making chari faint but still victorious in combat. As soon as Charmander passed out, Nate ran to her to see if she was okay.
"Are you alright chari!?" He said worried as he held his charmander in his arms.
Mark just stared at the nate and his weakened charmander.
-Impressive…-Mark said as he began to applaud
-What are you talking about?----I must go to the pokemon center
"You're not going anywhere," Mark replied maliciously.
Without hesitating for a second, Mark put his pikachu back into his pokeball, and then he took out a female golbat. Which wore a black neckline and black cap. Nate was surprised to see the golbat who gave him a look between malicious and flirtatious.

-But what is this...
Nate was able to finish speaking when Mark gave a small laugh.
-Oh… you're very naive, in case you don't know I'm a member of the Missile team. –Answered mocking mark
-Missile team?!-Mark said surprised
-We are the new rocket team... or well, its successors.- Said a female voice behind Nate's back
Turning around, Nate was surprised to see a similarly dressed trainer, who was accompanied by a Nidorina. -This is Katey, my partner
"Nice to meet you, now if you'll excuse us... hand over your charmander!" The girl exclaimed maliciously while her nidorina was preparing to execute an order from her trainer, if necessary.
