Poor Kodi and his sister get kidnapped at the hands of an unknown assailant.
Character's owned by Amblin Entertainment.
The rubber soles of Kodi’s trainers echoed a bit against the concrete of the basement hallway, his hackles rising underneath his polo shirt in the chilly air. He headed for the laundry room where Aleu was volunteering after-hours for extra credit.
The young husky’s tufted ears swivelled, picking up nothing but the barely noticeable hiss of the AC and hum of the pipes: distant, comforting noises. Though almost as tall as their father, he was a leaner in muscle tone and unlike Aleu, he showed no signs of their father’s wolf heritage: his muzzle was bold, but not as sharp as a wolf’s, and his shaggy fur was reddish-brown, shading to a pale chocolate-milk on his face and down his front. The knife-sharp folds of his blue pants and white polo skimmed neatly over his sparse, muscular frame.
He approached the double doors to the laundry room, but the pebbled glass above the doors was just a square of blackness. Aleu should still have been in there. Kodi stopped, ears pricked up, tail stiffening. Again, he heard nothing but the background noises of the basement, perpetual as his own breathing. He swung the doors open. Darkness.
“Aleu?!”
The switch was to the left inside the door. Kodi reached through with a russet-furred hand, fumbling across the wall for it.
The moment before he touched the chill plastic he heard a panicked grunt and some half-choked yell:
“Prrs, rnnh!”
He mashed the light switch.
Raw yellow light came on. At the far end of the room was his sister Aleu, sitting upright in an unnatural position against the white concrete wall. It couldn’t be anyone else: he could make out her blue pleated skirt, long white stockings under black Mary-Janes, her sizeable bust pulling her white polo tight. Her brown-grey fur was unmistakable, shaggy where it showed between her clothes, as was her long, sharp wolf muzzle. Silver duct tape was wound around it, in so many layers it barely showed the shape underneath, and the same substance was rolled around her arms and torso above and below her breasts, and in four places around her furred legs, from her calves up to just under her skirt. Her plumey tail whisked agitated against the floor, the heels of her Mary-Janes slid and scraped. When she saw Kodi, her crystalline eyes widened and she forced out an urgent yelp. She was alive, and perhaps unharmed – at any rate, Kodi could see no blood.
“Aleu!”
The rest of the laundry was a blur around him as he ran towards his sister, mouthing her name. Aleu slung her head back and forth, struggling to force her voice through the tape, eyelids squeezed together in distress.
He knelt down in front of her, trying to get a grip on the silver tape around her muzzle.
“Who did this?”
Aleu jerked left and right, the movement making her heavy breasts swing as she yelled through the gag. Kodi could barely get hold.
“Stop, I’m trying to help you!” he urged, barely managing to force his voice down.
Aleu’s winter-sky blue eyes widened at something above him.
“Mmmmfff!”
Blackness exploded in the back of his head. There was a sharp, blinding pain. Kodi struggled to cling to awareness for a few seconds longer, but the room and even his own body were slipping from him.
*
Aleu growled, barely able to hear it through the tape, as Kodi let out a groan and slumped, peeling away from the tall shadowy form of their assailant. The wolf-dog girl stiffened her body to catch her unconscious brother. That much she could do. Her body cushioned his fall, he wouldn’t suffer any further injuries. Kodi’s lean frame lay pressed against her large bust, his warm unconscious head resting with its chin on her tightly muscled shoulder. She could smell his fur, like when they and their other siblings had used to sleep in a flopped heap in the bedroom years ago. Aleu was powerless to do anything except glare past her brother’s head at the canine above them.
Their captor pulled Kodi’s form off her. Her brother flopped in his grip, body heavy and boneless with unconsciousness.
“Nnnh! Lvv hmm hlhnnh!”
The wolf-girl’s muscles bunched as she tore at her ties, feeling the tough pull of the adhesive on her fur, struggling until she thought she smelled blood. If anything could have given her supernatural strength, it would have been the sight of her helpless brother. And she couldn’t do it, her bonds might as well have been concrete for all her success in budging them.
In front of her, the male canine pulled a coil of rope out of his pocket, pulled Kodi’s wrists behind his back and tied them together, then did the same with his feet. After that, he wound rope around her brother’s calves and thighs so that he couldn’t have moved his legs one inch, even if he’d been conscious. When their captor was satisfied with his work, he rolled Kodi over, his uniform wrinkled, pulling him halfway up to get space to lash tight coils of rope around his torso, locking his arms to his sides.
"Oooooohhhhhh" Kodi groaned out of his half-open mouth, his eyes were still closed, with the eyelids flickering.
"Mmmppphhhh" Kodi's groan was muffeled as a rag was shoved into his mouth by his kidnapper, then tied a second piece of cloth behind his reddish-furred head to keep it in. Aleu let out a little grunt she couldn’t hear, so fixed on him she hardly felt her own muscle strain. The captor turned around, showing a thin bright grin, and dragged Kodi a few steps towards her bound form. Another step, and he let Kodi drop into her lap.
“You two keep each other company for a minute. I’ll be right back.”
He sauntered off through the bright laundry room.
“Bhstrrd!” Aleu forced through the tape.
She glared at his back as if her sheer hate was enough to hurt him, until he vanished behind a line of dryers. Apart from poor Kodi, she was alone.
She would have been able to keep struggling with her fetters, but she couldn’t risk moving too much and letting her brother’s head slam into the floor. She already didn’t know how badly he might be injured from the blow to his head. It was only in movies that knocking people out was as harmless as giving them a sleeping pill. Please, please be okay.
“Kddh?”
She couldn’t move her jaws at all under the tape. Even making the muffled sound audible took vast amounts of energy.
“Kddh?” Louder this time. If their captor heard her, she had nothing to lose.
She’d tried it four times when before she finally got a response.
"Mmpphh" Kodi grunted through his gag as eye's opened up and he stared into his sister's face. He pulled weakly at his bonds as he wormed his way from side to side unable to break free.
There was nothing Aleu could do for him, except letting out another muffled "kddh!" to try and say all the things she couldn’t say, be strong, we'll get out of this somehow.
"Hlmh" Kodi moaned into his gag as he made one last attempt to free himself, before his strength seemed to fail, another muffled groan shook her brother and he fell back comatose, his head resting on her lap.
The minutes passed. Aleu watched Kodi – at least she could reassure herself that he was breathing and showing no sign of bleeding. (And if that changed, what would she be able to do?)
She heard the muffled pulsing of wheels. It was too late for her to have hope left.
The kidnapper came around the corner, pushing a wheeled clothes hamper lined with white fabric. It was big enough to hold a person. Aleu had no illusions about what it was for. He stopped a couple of steps away and reached down to grab Kodi.
“NNNH!” Aleu yelled defiantly against her gag as she leaned forward to shield her brother’s body as best she might, but the assailant shoved her upright and she had no way to hold on. He pulled Kodi upright. The young husky tottered on his feet, supported by the kidnapper. Perhaps he was awakening again.
Their captor tossed Kodi over his shoulder, and the impact pushed another muffled "Mmpphh" out of the husky. As the kidnapper carried him to the hamper, Kodi raised upper body and once again struggled weakly while his bleary gaze met Aleu’s. If the kidnapper had noticed, he did nothing.
"Mmmmmm" Kodi moaned into his gag as his strenght left him, passing out once again and his upper half slumped back down to almost lean against his assaliants back.
“KHDHH!” Aleu jolted, for a moment forgetting her bonds and the tape pulling at her jaws.
The kidnapper turned his back to her, lowering her motionless brother into the hamper. The wolf-dog fought with the duct tape again, focusing every scintilla of her strength on the tape twisted around her wrists: if she could only get through it, it felt like she would have more chance to fight back. She couldn’t do it: the adhesive was heavy-duty, the fabric made to hold against strain. The girl fought until her shoulder throbbed as if she’d pulled a muscle, then sat powerless, blue eyes stinging with tears, nostrils widened as she struggled for air.
The kidnapper straightened his back and turned to Aleu. The wolf-girl twisted in her bonds and glared at him under her brows, her eyes like burning coals: if nothing else, at least she wouldn’t make this easy for him. He bent over her, blocking out the light, and slung her over his shoulder like he had done Kodi. Aleu wriggled in his grasp and flung her head against his face as if she’d still been able to bite, cursing and growling as best she could through her gag. Any noises she could make were the same grunts. She struggled with all her might to force him to let go. The large male merely tightened his grip around her waist, his arm sinking into her firm flesh and stopping her from slipping even an inch. He was approaching the hamper.
The captor slid her off his shoulder and lowered her into the shadows of the hamper where Kodi lay, white polo bright in the dusk, curled up on his side the way he’d used to sleep when they were pups. Aleu stopped her struggles rather than risking slamming into Kodi with her shoes or head. The kidnapper placed her on her side next to her brother on a soft layer of white towels. .
He moved them to fit them in, wedging Kodi’s bound legs over hers and pressing her head down against her brother’s warm chest. Aleu felt the fur on Kodi’s chin against the top of her head between her ears.
A few seconds passed. When Aleu strained to see past her brother’s shoulder, she saw more towels lining the walls of the hamper, there to muffle any sound she or Kodi might manage.
“Mmmff!” Aleu cried out into her gag as something soft and flimsy landed on her.
It was just a towel, a large one for the shower-room, filling her nostrils with the homey scent of detergent. Another landed on top of it. He was filling the entire empty space; not just muffling them, but obscuring them as well. Aleu lay still as towel after towel landed on them, just focusing on getting oxygen.
No more towels came, and she was still getting air. The lid shut on them. She felt it more than heard it.
The hamper began to move, she felt the vibrations of the wheels under her. Aleu nestled her head against Kodi’s still chest. At least this way, she could feel his warmth and breathing.
As long as the two of them stayed together, they would get themselves out of this, or at least survive until someone came to rescue them.

Very nice! This is a fantastic little tale. The suspense was built well, the details were crisp, and the situation was amusing.
My only genuine criticism is that it was far too short, and I wished we had seen more.

I'm glad you liked it, the writer i commissioned to bring my story summary to life is very good. it's funny you mentioned it being too short because i did plan it to be longer, but i decided to go in shorter length and make it a two-parter, so there will be a second part eventually.
