"That's a bird, Uncle Commodore."
"So beautiful! I've never seen anything like that!"
"You guys have vultures in the desert."
"Birds are vultures? WOW! You're so smart, Spike!"
"Yeah, sure. Watch the branches, please."

Commodore may not be able to remember ever seeing a bluejay before (or much of anything), but he's a relentlessly enthusiastic audience to natural beauty. Spike, who has mixed feelings about being picked up, is starting to get a little tired of the novelty.
