My first attempt at writing music for the AY8930 enhanced PSG. As someone who has written for the AY-3-8910 and the YM2149, this chip is rather unique. For one, the AY8930 has pulse width modulation, ranging up to 9 duty cycles (technically 5 unique timbres, the other ranges are just inversed versions of the first four). The noise in the AY8930 has a unique-sounding noise generator, and has a wide range of pitches (256 in total) compared to the AY-3-8910's (32 in total). The volume range is also different! All in all, it's the same as the AY even without the enhanced features. :)
