...On February 24, my country attacked Ukraine. I don't want to be silent.

I don't want war. I do not believe that bloodshed and bombing can solve problems.
All of us are absolutely lost in the chain of events and tightly entangled in that tangle of lies that oozes from our TV screens. There are so many lies that it seems as if the Truth is forever mired and dissolved in it.

But you know what? I don't care who's right and who's wrong. I don't care who "first started". We're not in a kindergarten where you can point fingers at each other and throw sand. We are in the real world, where instead of sand they throw rockets, and instead of toy soldiers, real people are sent to the battlefield. Almost all - not on their own. But by the will of those who choke from the feeling of their unlimited authority.

It's time to just... stop. Lay down your weapons. We do not live in the Middle Ages. We live in a time of advanced technology, flourishing science and high self-awareness. I do not believe that there is no peaceful way to resolve the conflict. I do not agree that people should suffer, die and lose their loved ones for the sake of other people's ambitions.

I want the bird of the world to fly again.
