Thunder crashed as the rain pelted over the shoreline, heat in the air caused the ferocity of wind to only increase in intensity. This small shore is connected to the small ocean-side town called Pike. The tiny town was all too familiar with storms like this, most days it was rain and fog which was perfect for the water folk. The town sloped down to the docks, the boardwalk made an arc around the sandy beach which now had waves crashing down hard against the sand.
At the docks and in a local tavern by the edge of the water, there were yells and screams of laughter booming through the wooden shack that leaked. The Rusted Clam had made itself known to be more water-friendly. As the waves crashed up towards land it filled the floorboards here and sometimes lifted as high as 2ft. Whales, Orcas, Sharks; Possiden beware the number of sharks. They seemed to run the place. But this was also a place of competition; nights at this tavern had ring wars. One-on-one fights for cash and anything went. There wasn't much blood to see due to the saltwater washing it through the floorboards which made it easy for staff to clean, so to speak.
The front door swung open and a female stood there with a fanged grin as the bar got quiet and whispers spread as she strode to the bar getting a drink. She was a tiger shark, her skin had a soft yellow-pink tint and her underbelly was white. Yellow eyes looked like daggers and it seemed as if she had a resting bitch face. Strands of blue hair went down to a forest green color which was tied up in a ponytail. Downing her drink she looked to the betting board and laughed, "Rashak at the top again. Guess I better fix that." Rising up she pushed through men of all sizes and went to the small ring and saw the tall black reef shark celebrating. Stepping in the ring she wasted no time in throwing her fist at the male. Sure as a female shark she was smaller than them but she was larger and more built than most female animals. With abs, biceps, thick legs, and standing as tall as most men at 6'3" she was a force to be reckoned with.
It was 30 minutes in and there was blood and cuts all along their skin as the ocean water rose and stung them. Rashak was hoping she would throw because with all the other fights he had tonight, he was low on stamina. But her name on the lips of others in the crowd caused her to grin her sparkly white dagger fangs, "You know why they call me Hurrinah right, Rashak? Because I come in like a hurricane. And finish with a typhoon!" Bite marks, bruises, and cuts covered her skin but she didn't seem the least bit bothered by what pain they would have caused. These barmen knew her as the Ring Hurricane and Typhoon in the Ring. It would seem like she was about to die in the ring then get up and suddenly overwhelm her opponent with a fierceness like the ocean waves. Ramming her fists into his face repeatedly blood covered her fists as she sat on his chest. His fangs bit down hard on her thigh as he dug his claws into her back. Hurrinah's eyes flashed an aqua blue and her fist hit his face knocking teeth out and smashing into his nose and skull. He laid on the ground motionless. Getting up off of him, blood rolled down her thigh and her back over her short shorts. The tank top which was white was now coated in blotches of blood from her and him. After the 10sec count, she was made the winner for the night and placed at the top of the board.
Going to the bar she collected wads of cash and got a huge drink and sipped on it as it started to empty out. The pain was there but thanks to her adrenaline she didn't feel it. If anything she could go for flipping cars or tipping boats just for fun. Downing the first giant glass of sea mead she asked for another leaving a fat $200 in the tip jar for the man behind the bar. This wasn't a place for a woman but Hurrinah had their respect as the only one daring enough to be here with the outcast ocean males. Yellow eyes went to the window that seeped water and watched the ocean crash and the rain pelted down on the glass. With a smirk she watched three men carry out Rashak's massive body; downing her drink she groaned looking to her thigh and dug out a huge tooth and slapped it on the table, "The one man who always leaves teeth in me."
