faith shatters on the solid walls
expressions of a learned helplessness
the pain scraped from bliss,
another empty metaphor surrounds
a frightened soul expressionless

Your voice really suits this kind of genre. You should have set your theme to country, not rock. It sounds brilliant . From the sound of it (in my opinion anyway), it's going to be very close running between you and Lily (unless Colson chooses both tracks). You're both so good. I can't wait to hear the final results

Hehe, I suppose most of my bands that i like only have one vocalist, which makes me feel like they're talking to me rather than singing... I guess it's easier to connect to a single vocal line, though i can't go past an amazing harmony either X3

enjoyed your rendition. i think your warm voice fits it nicely. I get a very "earthy" feel, if that makes any sense. accoustic guitars, leather, good ol' boys pickin and singin on haybales. :P

The biggest thing that I miss about old school country and bluegrass is the harmonies. Those tight, close chords just make me smile.
