The Silver Clan has high standards to its own bloodline. Breeding with focus on certain traits to keep the Clan strong and pure.
Although focus is also on avoiding inbreeding, there is still a certain disdain for mixbreeding.
White Light was the result of a Silver Clan member's affair with a pegasus far from approved for breeding stock, the resulting foal soon after abandoned by the mother and left in the care of the Silvers. Although taken in to be brought up and given a good education, it was not in a setting with a family as the father didn't take responsibility other than the Clan taking in the kid.
Treated as a mutt who owes everything to the Clan, he was to accept whatever plans the Clan had for him, going into the medical field to treat agents returning from missions with injuries.
Silently building up quite the resentment towards the Clan and its need for control over every part of their members' lives, he set out to get a bit of personal revenge.
For the thing he did, creating a virus genetically altered to target Silvers, he's considered the greatest monster produced by the Clan, in their own eyes, and they are all quite displeased he managed to die before they could get justice by proper punishment.
But he wasn't done with them just yet.
