Not necessarily. There is no hint of "reformation" in the tags, and it doesn't make sense, anyway. Even "magic" should make sense, and you cannot simply create matter out of nothing. All of those molecules are now part of the dragon (or at lease all of the useful ones). Those little fox boys all look the same anyway, so the viewer can draw his own conclusion. Most of the comments seem to indicate that the majority of readers believe this one was digested away and now gone. I am sure if this had a blatant "reformation" ending and tags, it would have received far fewer "likes" and favorable comments. Think about it -- if the dragon could "reform" him or if the fox could "reform" himself, the dragon wouldn't have bothered to warn him that crawling in her stomach for a temporary experience there was not a good idea when she was tired..... and ooops! .. she was right. This is the charm of this comic.
Not if the foxes look practically the same in this artist's universe (like they do in ours as well). If he "came back", it would have been mentioned in the "tags", and then fewer people would have probably read it! A LOT of people think the "reformation" stuff is just silly -- it's impossible in any kind of realistic, "flesh and blood" type world. The only scientific way somebody could "come back" from being digested is if they had made "clones" of themselves. Watch "Rick & Morty"!
i just go by the multiverse theory. any "bad" end pics we see of a similar character is permanent, any new pics we see, of them. takes place in a similar but different world.
