Hello Everyone!

You have no idea how EXCITED I AM RIGHT NOW!!! This character has been in the works for quite some time and now I'm finally able to introduce you all to her! Everyone, I'd like you to meet Farus, a Pokemon hybrid between a Charizard and Reshiram that was lovingly designed by  Roobin! I can't begin to describe how incredibly happy I am with how beautiful she turned out, what Roobin was able to do with her creation is nothing short of phenomenal and I could never thank them enough. Farus just looks so great and it warms my heart every time I look at her ^^. Please go give Roobin all the love you can, they really are an amazing person and are more than deserving of it!

As for Farus herself, she bears the title of guardian from those who know of her, as she is the protector and caretaker Farus Springs, a large garden region that is central to the forest she inhabits (some may remember a passing reference to it in Ayla's story from a little ways back). Known for its majestic landscapes and lush vegetation, Farus Springs has become a prime destination for those needing a reprieve, a place to relax and feel at ease from all the troubles the outside world can bring. If one is in need of nourishment, they will find a healthy supply of melons, fruits and berries for them to choose from. If they are seeking shelter from the heat or cold, the springs will have accommodations more than suited for their wishes. But the most prized among the woodland's gems are its waters, a mix of hot springs and cool streams that rejuvenate both the mind and body of those submerged within them. These waters are at the heart of what makes Farus Springs special, and why Farus works so hard to protect and nurture this fertile region, as well as serve its numerous guests.

This region did not always carry Farus's name however, in fact that has only been the case in recent years. See Farus was born to this land with her parents being its former guardians. They were caretakers much as she is today, cultivating what plants and fruits were needed throughout the seasons, and they passed on many of these skills to her. But unlike in her own time, her Parents were fairly new to the arts of botany when they first laid claim to the springs, a land that was seen as sparse and undesirable within their time. Farus watched them at every step along the way, growing a love for the plants and animals that made their world flourish. By the time she reached her teens all that hard work had begun to bear fruit, the springs transformed into a beautiful vista with a bountiful garden. The family was proud of their work, creating a home that they would find no want or need in. But Farus's heart told her that there was more to their creation, that their haven could be a wellspring for both those of the city and of the woodland's denizens. Her parent's took some convincing on this though, for they were growing old, and feared the effects of over-burdening the land they put so much love and care into. But Farus's passion was unrelenting along with her caring nature, so they agreed to pass on these lands to her upon her passage into adulthood.

That promise was 15 years ago and Farus Springs has only thrived from the hybrids stewardship. There was a great deal of struggle at first for the young Pokemon, as her usual diligent and patient nature seemed to be stretched to its limit. But her perseverance kept her going, along with a new sense of purpose which developed a drive solely fueled by her youthful energies. By the time she'd gotten her feet under her, the gardens she owned had greatly expanded, and new paths and trails were laid to allow for a greater stream of weary travelers. Fruits and springs were not the only things Farus wished to offer though, as she knew that those that choose the woodland life (those who are known as 'Ferals') had less access to treatments and services available to those in the cities. Fortunately for Farus, she soon became good friends with the snake doctor Ayla, a trained city physician who Farus was able to make an arrangement with; Ayla would grow and maintain the medical herbs which Farus Springs provided (as well as a few transplants of Ayla's own), and Farus would give Ayla what she needed to make a modern clinic within her lands. Of course these construction materials needed to come from somewhere, but Farus was one step ahead on this, as the neighboring farms that neared the forest were in need of some of the fruits and seeds which Farus cultivated, hoping to diversify their crops. Farus was willing to provide these for them, but on the condition that they'd assist her in turn with the materials needed to build eco-friendly structures. These trades would not only be the source for Ayla's solar powered clinic, but a store house, a granary, a water mill for baking, as well as other amenities which aided Farus greatly.

All these efforts have led to Farus becoming a local favorite among the woodland folk as a kind and warmhearted caretaker, and even earning her a reputation for a few that live outside her woods. She has gained a wisdom that is well beyond her years and seeks to use that knowledge for the good of others, whether it's as simple as providing food or providing shelter. This does not make her passive however, as those that have damaged or abused her lands or guests all receive a swift response. Respect is key for her, and those who choose to offer none for others have no place within her realm, a rule she strictly enforces. But for all those that find themselves within her lands, either through curious exploration or genuine need, know that Farus will be willing to greet you with open wings, and maybe even a plate of treats to ^^
