Making a little fun at Mistralpelt for hir complexity and how it works out when taking commissions with hir. It can cost quite some extra with all those extra, multiple wings and tails and horns and taur body. Of course it's all fair artists to get their money when they go through the troubles of drawing hir.

those extra taxes really start to add up. But its worth it to see beautiful people like you and Mistral.

Jianre-M, one of my artist friends, changed their prices between Califur cons probably knowing that I'd always want something from them, and literally everything extra about my characters that I could want was an added cost and I had that exact same reaction! :) I read all the extra charges for extra limbs, wings, 'taur and complexity and was like "...fuck...its everything my characters tend to be!"
But I'm so used to it from every artist that I just sort of laugh at it and end up commissioning them anyway because its worth it.

Yup, it's all fair for artists to charge for extra work they have to do, just affects us with crazy characters.
Hehe. Is why I also tip the artist that draws my odd ideas, too-- because I appreciate the effort!
