Hahaha, thank you very much! A number of the work I've been doing for people lately I haven't been posting for one reason or another, but I had a backlog of stuff that was done for Christmas that I had to hold off on posting so as not to ruin the surprise - why I'm posting a bunch now that Christmas has passed XD There were a few others I wish I could post but some of them wanted them to remain private :b

To remain private? Well, this is going to make me kinda curious.

Most of them are adult in nature :b

What an odd combination: a spirit dog, a nonchalant archer, and Scorpion. Scorpion, in particular, caught my eye. I like how you did his MKX costume.

lol - it's the client and her boyfriend and their dog. Boyfriend is a giant nerd and loooooves Scorpion, so she thought he'd enjoy them all done up as, like, fantasy warriors together with him as Scorpion. I've done work for him before, which had a similarly strange mash-up of personal touches - I painted him as Venom, but with Thanos' Infinity Gauntlet and a Batman suit underneath, and if you look really closely, you can see the Louis Vuitton pattern on the suit 'cause he's a big collector of LV. Personal stuff like that XD

It's funny when people come to me with personalised requests, often with a sort of embarrased, "I know this'll sound weird, but..." and I'm like, no no, this is absolutely normal for me XD

Yeah, I bet, you can tell some strange stories about commissions and requests, those remaining private for instance. ;)

XD Yeah, it was partly my idea and partly hers. Her basic idea was to have her boyfriend as Scorpion, and she and their dog done up as matching fantasy warriors. I'd recently just played through Nioh which has some lovely Japanese guardian spirit animals (such as kitsune and shiba inu), so I immediately thought to do their little dachshund as a magical spirit animal or, better yet, a dachshund kitsune :3 She loved it - it was her idea to have him be giant :D

interesting idea, playful and dangerous. :) also, why not. the foo dogs/foo lions also have all possible shapes and colours and such. :)

Hehe, yeah, exactly :3 Plus who wouldn't get a kick out of seeing their little beloved doggo as a giant magical spirit animal :D
