I recently came across a visual novel titled "Adastra" which is a gay romance/action/drama where your SO is a wolf named Amicus. Amicus is a character that a lot of people have a crush on, and I can easily see why. I personally like him for his personality, and because he has a bit of a gut, one that I thought could be bigger.

I thought I'd write this as a sort-of sequel to the novel for anyone who has the same interests in mind (hence why I wrote it in 1st person). I hope you guys enjoy it.

8 years. It had been 8 years since that adventure I had had. It was quite the bizarre one for sure. A wolf from space, named Amicus, had taken me to help him take the throne for emperor, and he did succeed in that with my help, but not in a way either of us could have expected. After a bloody battle between us and his would-be usurper where I had actually died, I had somehow been revived by a group of deities known as "the parents" whom said that me and Amicus would have to be apart for 8 years to prepare the multiverse for a confrontation with a dark entity.

We had been apart for 8 solid years, me helping to reconnect Earth to the rest of the other planets, moons, etc. and him doing the same a well as managing his empire. Thankfully the latter few years we had been gifted a communication device by the parents so we could talk to and see each other, think facetime, but way more advanced. I'm glad to know they had enough empathy to let us still see each other again. Anyways, during those interactions over the device, I had noticed some changes with Amicus. He was still the same personality-wise, but in those 8 years we had been apart, he had lost a lot of weight. The pot belly he had when first met him was gone and his muscles seem to have shrunk a bit too. It was most likely because he missed me, those types of feelings can cause you to lose your appetite. But I planned on taking care of that when we finally were in each other's presence.

On the exact day that Amicus and I left each other to fulfil our duties given to us by the parents, who else but him came from the sky in the exact same craft we travelled in together. "Amicus!" I cried. He cried my name back before we embraced each other in a big hug that lasted for what seemed like a century, it was a shame that it wasn't as soft as our last one. "I'm so glad to finally be with you again!" I said. "As am I." Amicus replied "And this time, NOTHING will keep us apart." he added. I was glad to hear it.

We got back into the ship, and began our journey to Adastra. "I'll be busy for the next couple days, but after that, I'll be free for one whole day." Amicus said. "Really?" I asked cheekily, remembering the last couple times he said he was free when he wasn't. "Of course." Amicus answered "I made sure countless times. I want us to be able to have a full day to ourselves for once." "Awesome." I replied. "Whatever you want to do, We'll do it. Go into one of the many towns or cities in my empire, have a picnic on our private island? you name it, we'll do it." He said. "How about something simple, like a private dinner in our room in the evening?" I asked. "Just in case something does pop up last minute." "Certainly." Amicus answered. I just smiled, looks like my plan to fully bring back the old Amicus was starting to come into fruition.

The next couple days after that were just me in the palace, thankfully I wasn't lonely, our friend Neferu, a jackal from the planet Khemia, kept me company. He told me that he was still here was to keep diplomacy between his and Amicus' people, and he also told me it was because he Preferred Adastra to his home planet. Not that I minded, I was glad to have someone around to talk to. Speaking of, we did a lot of talking, mainly catching up since we hadn't talked to each other since I left Adastra all those years ago. After a while, I decided to tell him of my plan. "Yeah, Amicus stopped eating as much as he used to when you left, even Cassius and Virginia were worried about it." he told me. " I bet." I replied. "But I plan on taking care of that during our dinner." "Does Virginia know of your plan?" Asked Neferu. "Not yet, I wanted to keep this secret, but I plan on telling her about it when the day comes." I answered. "Well, you're secret's safe with me." Neferu replied, winking. "Thanks." I replied back.

Eventually the day came, Amicus thankfully did have this day 100% off meaning we could do some things during the day before our dinner. We decided to go around the city. "Ready to go?" Amicus asked. "Almost, I just have to make sure I look my best." I lied "Go ahead, I'll meet you by the automatic cart." Amicus gave me a weird look, but left anyways. Once he had left our room, I had Com, our AI, call in Virginia. She came in a few moments later. "What is it you wanted to talk to me about?" she asked. I told her about Amicus and how thin he had gotten, as well as my plan." She didn't respond right after I finished. "So the dinner you proposed to my brother was to fatten him up?" she said at last. "Yes." I answered back. "And I wanted to ask if you could set his dietary restrictions to unlimited, at least for tonight." Virginia pondered for a moment before speaking again. "Amicus hasn't really indulged since you left, Even though he's been more responsible, I wish the old him would return somewhat. I'll set his restriction to unlimited for you." "Thank you so much." I said. "You're welcome." Virginia replied. "I may not trust anyone, but can I trust you to make sure my brother gets his fill?" she asked. "I will, I'll make sure of it." I promised. "Thank you." she said, giving a subtle smile as I left.

The rest of the day was great, I got to tour Adastra city and met some old friends (or acquaintances in a few cases). I enjoyed it, but on the inside I was preparing for the evening dinner.

We made it back to the palace just as the sun was beginning to set and made our way to our room. When we arrived, we could see a cart stacked high with all sorts of food. I smiled and internally thanked Virginia and Com for helping me. Amicus took the cart inside and we sat down on his bed. "Alright, let's dig in." Amicus said before grabbing a plate and eating, I followed suit. He, quite figuratively and literally, wolfed down many plates, meanwhile I only had a couple, Adastrians are bigger after all.

After emptying the first cart, Amicus laid down. I looked over at him, the wolf had gotten a bit softer with all those servings, but he wasn't quite like how he was before. I gave a sad sigh, one that he somehow heard. "Are you alright?" he asked. "I'm fine, It's just been a long time since we were in bed together." I lied. Amicus didn't buy it. "Come on now, I know that's not the case, what's wrong?" he asked. I sighed, it was time to come clean. "Ever since we started talking over the communication device, I noticed how thin you had gotten since we left each other. I had planned this dinner so I could get you back into your old shape and possibly more. I was worried about you for a long time, all of us were, even Virginia. She even set your dietary restrictions to unlimited to help me with this." I explained.

Amicus didn't say anything, so I continued. "I should have just been straight-forward with you, Instead of trying to fatten you up behind your back. I'm sorry..." I said shamefully. After a bit of silence, Amicus spoke. "I haven't been myself lately, have I?" he said. I didn't reply. Amicus looked down at his torso. "I missed you too, I wasn't able to eat much because of those feelings, sometimes I couldn't eat at all." he continued. "I'm sorry for worrying you so much." He finished, before pulling me into a hug, one that was a bit softer than our last. "But don't worry, that's all going to change." he said. I smiled "I'm glad to hear it." I said. Amicus broke our hug and sat up. "Com, send more food to my room." he ordered. "A lot more." he added, giving me a wink. He then laid down with both paws behind his head. "You know, I'm a bit tired after all that travelling today." he said. "I'm too tired to even bring more food up to my maw." he added, coyly. "Do you think you could help to bring the old Amicus back?" My face went a deep red at his teasing. "Of course I will." I answered back.

Soon enough, another cart of food came to our door, this one piled higher than the last. I brought it in next to Amicus before grabbing a plate of what looked like chicken tenders. "Open wide, Your Majesty." I teased. Amicus chuckled before opening his maw. One by one, I fed him each of the juicy tenders. After he finished with those, we moved on to other dishes on the cart. I grabbed a bowl of what looked like ramen noodles and held the bowl up to his lips which he then gulped down. After several more servings of food, the cart was empty, and in just a bit, a new one had arrived. Plates and bowls of all kinds of foods, some I recognized, some I didn't, were fed to him by me. whenever one cart emptied, it's be gone and replaced with one full of food. All the while I could see his gut growing back into the pot belly he once had, and then bigger than that not long after.

After what felt like hours, we decided to call it off. Amicus gave out a heavy, satisfied sigh. "That was quite a workout." he said. "you think?" I said "all you had to do was eat, I was the one doing all the other work." "True." Amicus replied "But I appreciate it, as well as your concerns." "I'm your husband... sort of, of course I would be concerned." I said. "And I'm glad you are." Amicus replied. "I love you." I said after a while. "I love you too." Amicus replied back.

I then heard some gurgling coming from Amicus' belly and saw him wince a little. "Too full?" I asked. "Yeah..." Amicus answered. "Here, let me help with that." I said, putting my hands on his belly and rubbing it. After a few moments he eased up and gave a sigh. After some time, I stopped. "Better?" I asked. "Yeah, but please keep it up." Amicus said. I happily went back to it, but decided to have a bit of fun. Along with rubbing it, I began kneading it like dough and squishing it. I even toyed with his navel a few times, making him giggle each time I did.

Eventually I stopped and laid my head on his gut, listening to it. "Tired out?" Amicus asked. "Yeah..." I said simply. "But I enjoyed it." "So did I." Amicus replied. "especially since I had you with me for it." he said, wrapping one of his arms around me into a sort-of hug "This time, no one, not even the parents will keep us apart. I promise." "I'm glad to hear it." I said "And I'm glad to have the old Amicus back, even if it's likely just for tonight." Amicus chuckled "I think I'll keep most of this new weight, I've gotta prove that I am "Large and in charge" somehow, right?". I laughed "Right." I said. Eventually, after some more idle talk and cuddling, we both fell asleep.

The future was looking very bright for us.
