I think Ruby will write a very strongly worded letter to old Saint Nick about why she believes he made a mistake in putting her on the naughty list. Right?

So far as I know, she either can't talk or doesn't talk and is also a very close to being a complete sociopath. The girls seem to live/work with her just fine, but her behavior still manages to surprise them sometimes.
The fun thing too is I have this running gag where everyone is like ‘is she dangerous?’ And yet the most responsible person of the group, Glitter, seems completely oblivious to her girlfriend’s threatening aura XD
She was kind of a background character I didn’t intend to do much with, and one day I realized I never had shown her speaking, so I thought ‘what if she’s mute?’ And then I thought ‘what if I make her homicidal and zany?’ And she became the opposite of what I intended for her. She’s a lot more fun to draw now XD
If I'm reading that right, it looks like her real name is Rui Bai. Is that correct?

I feel like, despite her penchant for knives and her general speechless threats, she's not actually a mean person... just has fun with people constantly underestimating her. Because she looks short and cute, but she's actually a gremlin that likes to pull pranks that go just a tad over the line.
I wouldn't say she's mean per se either, just very much enjoys the panic she causes X3
I forget, is Ruby from China or Hong Kong? I think I've heard it mentioned she was from Hong Kong, but I'm not sure. Someone I used to know said she only spoke Mandarin (which explains her general lack of dialogue in anything I've ever seen), but that would put her as being from China or Taiwan. I need closure and to know if I'll need to know Cantonese, should I make her list.
She supposedly is from Hong Kong... at least she flew into London from there. Nobody is really certain about her origins though... rumour has it she was a Triad member :P
That solves that mystery. Now, I have to ask where Rui Bai came from. It seems like it has origins in Mandarin, but I'm not sure.

Maybe it's her real name, maybe it's not. I think you're digging too deep here, since Rui Bai is obviously just a pun off Ruby.
