Patreon's taken to calling him 'Twunkson'. It seems to be sticking. If you want to know more about what spawned this image, you need to be on my Patreon right now reading 'Illicit Alliance', my newest in-progress novel, which is to Grayson what Heretic was for Luther, essentially. Get on over there, and be a part of the beta process - https://www.patreon.com/Rukis
Grayson was a young, fail-son twink at some point, and I COULD NOT GET THAT IMAGE OUT OF MY HEAD.
This was supposed to be a 1 hour sketch and it consumed the remainder of my work night, when I SHOULD have been working on other things. I am a bad professional artist. I'm not sorry.
On the plus side, this image ended up serving as good practice for this false watercolor style I want to get better at. Believe it or not, that is all digital, there's no traditional media used in this at all. I know, I know, that sounds stupid. Like why not just do it traditionally? Well, the answer is... time, and wear and tear on my hands. Even at 3 hours, this piece took about 1/3 the time it would've taken to actually do in watercolor. So. It's something I'd like to get better at.
I don't know what he's doing with his hand there. I may add more to this. Would holding a coffee cup be TOO 'Wannabe Anarcho-Socialist University Student'?
In case anyone out there somehow hasn't caught on, Grayson is Luther's foil. What with the whole 'privileged, educated rich bitch --> wanted criminal' path. Luther took a somewhat opposite trajectory. In fundamentals, although obviously not in personality, they agree in most regards. But if they were too similar, they'd make pretty boring best bros characters, so. I like it this way.

In those days, that was the equivalent to a t-shirt and jeans in our time. ;)
Heh, yeah. (Don’t mind me, I’m just reminiscing about the “Now and Then” segment on Liberty’s Kids.)
What? I am admiring the buttons on the back of the vest--that's why my eyes are down there.
