Facing off with the formidable Midgar of Wind, Matthew, Skyler finds himself caught off-guard and thrown into a more impossible situation: how to escape the gluttonous pig's stomach! Meanwhile, Nick and Claire devise a plan to help out, but as time passes, Matthew's body siphons off more of Skyler's magic, increasing his own. At the last moment, a miracle happens between the combined efforts of Nick, Claire, and Skyler, and Matthew falls before him.

"Why're you so pretty?" XD
Ah, childish innocence. *remembers having a little speech over that in the first chapter of Esuritio* I snickered at that. I also presume Skyler won't be using that method again, or at least for a while, no?

Time will tell. I'm not sure myself. I don't plan this stuff out, the little things anyway. :)
XP Hehehe. It's not real different form the normal method, aside form the fact that the target doesn't survive, no?
It's to judge. The normal method is if they had some trace of good in them before the magic took over, while what he learned from the book is that this other form is to judge those who have no hope of behaving after the magic is absorbed. Thus, the grim method that it causes the invoker to perform.
Hm.....so, if the first doesn't work, then they HAVE to use the latter?
