I've always loved hominy on its own but recently got the idea to try it in a recipe. Recipe found here: https://www.callmepmc.com/hominy-au-gratin/
Thoughts: I wanted to add a little more flavor since I wasn't going to include the pimentos, so I added 1/2 teaspoon of cumin. This is very tasty, it's like mac n cheese except it tastes like corn tortilla quesadillas. I'm going to keep looking for more hominy recipes, this was a fun way to make them and they pack a lot of flavor.

Is this soft? I have just gotten my wisdom teeth out but I really wanna try this!
Yeah it's pretty soft, it's about the texture of baked potatoes I'd say so if that's soft enough it should be fine.
