Loooong overdue trade with luthien_nightwolf ! I mean, long enough that I gave up on the 60%-done-first-version and started all over.
My intent was to do dappled light on her upper-half from the leaves of the tree she's leaning against. Not sure it if happened though.
Sorry it took me 10 months! I hope you like it!

I think the shading looks pretty darn cool! Not to mention the pose, and the rest of the colors look great too :D
What a lovely. :) And I adore the way you're beginning to handle colour and light.
Thank you! I didn't realize I was doing things differently, but its good news to hear I'm going in the right direction!
Ohmigosh! That is so amazingly gorgeous! You really made her look unbelievably beautiful!

You're very welcome, dear! You more than deserve a watch; your art is amazingly beautiful!
Wow what a nice surprise! :D It looks beautiful, I love that prairie setting. And I do see the dappled shadow effect, very nice! ^_^
Thank you so much for doing that trade with me, it did indeed take a long time but it was worth the wait. :D See ya at Oklacon!

I can just get them from you at Oklacon if you don't mind bringing them with you. Whatever is easiest for you. :3
oh wow! I really like her character design (from her own gallery) and you did such a breathtaking job! :)
Beautiful image. What impresses me most is the boiling tower of Cumulus in the distant background. We get spectacular thunder storms out here in the desert, and under the right conditions a stack of clouds like that could appear in a matter of an hour or two.
Cumulus are my favorite. I live and grew up in south texas, and anywhere within reasonable driving distance of the ocean gets these clouds. I went to school for 4 years 4 hours north of here, and I hated how I never once saw clouds that looked like flying mountains.
I like how the coloring came out on her muzzle, and it's not that often that I see artists adding in whiskers. I like that :)
The stripes on her arms and legs look really good too.
