Some get stoned, some get strange
But sooner or later it all gets real
Walk on.
Like a less genuine Joaquin Phoenix.
I'm not bothered about seeing the film, but the poster made me crash into people in the Tube. These fellows do some great work.

Uuuuuh, nutty actor is nuts.
But at least he isn't Scientology nuts!
The poster *does* look pretty neat, though.

For cinematic outcomes of Scientology nuts, see Battlefield Earth.

Me too, and not less now that I've turned it over in my head and realised that Phoenix has most likely been playing a part in public for the year. But I'm easily swayed by bad reviews, particularly the ones which say they didn't get much insight out of the 'hoax'.
He's an actor. It's what he does. Calling an actor in a role in a film a "hoax" is just stupid. Arnold Schwarzenegger is not actually a cyborg from the future sent back to destroy humanity - but that doesn't make it a hoax either.
It's a real world he was entering though, and reviewers (those reviewers!) aren't clear why he did it. If to make a fool of himself and satirise himself for the cameras - why not. If to imply the hip-hop scene is equally foolish and filled with people like him - contentious. I think he may not have been clear to himself.
Oh man, you weren't kidding about those keller house's work. I kept clicking through and loving every single one.
Also, I'm actually very intrigued by the movie. I remember seeing the clip of him on Letterman acting very strangely and talking about being a rapper, but I had no idea it was for a movie. And yes, I'm pretty sure this whole act was for a fictional movie.

Most of us aren't going to recover, shave the fur off and turn up at Cannes looking spick and span. But at least we aren't just doing it for the cameras :)
This is the greatest thing ever! I even contemplated posting it to my extraordinarily non-furry facebook page :O That's big time. I wish we'd get more of these awesome cross-overs :)
And your damn right about that house's skill. I actually work for a company that does the same film marketing, but this Keller one's work I'd legitimately want to hang around my house.

Love the type treatment, along with the somewhat crude drawing, it makes a wonderful image!
I don't know what the picture was referencing, but I like the accepting, slightly confrontational mood of it.
