Well, to those who don't know, Midnight has a son, Steele.
he's been needing both a proper redesign AND ref for a while. And I have my amazing friend Rob to thank for htis one! We tried to add in a few more traits from his parents to make it more obvious he's their son, as well as removed or altered some things (like his wing spikes or giving him his Mom's markings, and changing his tail tip). One of the suggestions he gave was one I loved! And that was to play a bit more on his name, Steele. So...we gave him shiny, metallic-looking belly plates, and main scales for his body! (That's why I wanted this shaded ref, to show how shading 'effects' him)
