Back in 2008 I made a movie poster for a possible future Star Fox movie, but was unfortunately deleted a long time ago, so I made a new one.
ATTENTION: The Lylat System is in grave danger! Planet Corneria is under attack by the armies of the evil Emperor Andross, and the Cornerian Army is being overwhelmed. We need your help, Star Fox! Pepper out.
Based on the hit game series by Nintendo, STAR FOX: THE LYLAT WARS blasts off for the first time from the depths of space to the big screen. Featuring an all-star cast, Fox McCloud and his team of mercenaries engage with Andross’ forces on every planet in the system. As the war progresses, Fox will tackle numerous challenges such as the deadly Monarch Dodora, the ruthless Star Wolf, and the rescuing of a beautiful vixen named Krystal before facing Andross himself on planet Venom. The fate of the Lylat System rests in his paws.

I saw this and wondered why it felt like it had Don Bluth influences. Then seeing some of your other gallery pieces, it became apparent why. Frankly, I love this. It's a very reminiscent of the old pulp covers. The only thing missing is an imposing threat to make Krystal recoil and Fox grimace like that. Fox and Krystal look absolutely fantastic. I think though that using actual stars on the background would have been better, like Google search a public domain starry background and just use that. I like the teaser that it'd be in cinemas in 2032. Let's hope we get a game before then. Seeing as how Nintendo is making that Mario movie, there's a chance Star Fox might get some love. I don't have much hope for it, as the furry critters angle would limit its audience to mostly kids, but the Star Fox world could be a massive thing with lots of lore, background, and story. Ah well.

Why would you pretend that two mercenaries were a thief & a princess? That doesn’t make sense, even if Disney made Robin & Marian foxes.

Yes, it is. I translated the original English text using the Dino Language page in the instruction booklet for Star Fox Adventures. Took me quite a long time to carefully translate it.
