So cool! Not too long ago I found a book by a man who traveled across Altai in search of almys (or however this may be spelled...), a local counterpart of yeti. He found only very vague evidence, but along the way he found many mysterious, if not paranormal, places and situations. Very fascinating.
Hiking in small/medium groups is so underrated, it's one of the best activities to bond with others.
