The sound of grinding metal.
And chiseling carbides.
More or less what I've been doing for the past couple of weeks, learning how to work these machines to produce precision components for any industry, particularly aerospace. Even more so with all this talk of space travel and colonization. Because someone has to make the parts needed for such endeavors.
I should have done this earlier while in America. Gone to trade school, and become either a CNC operator/machinist. Being an electrical technician would have also been good, and so is being an automotive mechanic. Welding would have also been an excellent choice. Old school blacksmithing would be great as well.
Instead of dumping god knows how much into a degree, and entering an oversaturated job market. Doesn't help that the US immigration system has a strong bent against blue collar workers, they only want college grads with job offers. Meanwhile, the cretins on the far-left want unskilled illegals who don't even have a high school diploma, or English fluency for that matter.
Oh there's also the other aspect of being able to machine metals. Making knives, swords and of course:
Guns.
It sure beats being a graduate in useless garbage like women/gender studies. And once I get a handle on engineering, I can fulfill that college desire to be like Tony Stark.

Suppose you could have attended a gunsmithing course in your youth. It would have helped with a steady income with art done on the side. Should be easy enough given the way you got a degree.
Toys used to produce other toys, and the parts for them. Toys like cars, trucks, trains and planes to get you somewhere.
Toys like weapons to defend yourself.
I guess trade school would have been an option for you back in the day. There's so much work but not enough workers.
