I can easily imagine a moment like this happening after 'The Great & Powerful, Trixie' has gotten herself super excited after having a really great time with her best friend, Starlight Glimmer.

Maybe, now that life is calming down in Equestria, Starlight is helping Trixie get even better at doing her own magic? This moment may be when she mastered the ability to magically teleport herself to show off a new trick that earned her a thunderous applause. She could have also had a night where she felt appreciated by other creatures, some even asking her for autographs, while she and Starlight trotted around Canterlot.

With the night coming to an end, Trixie wants to do all she can to make the moment last for as long as she can with her best friend. This had them find a niche hotel that serviced creatures who 'wanted to be like a foal again'.

Starlight and Trixie, both feeling really good about their time together and having had a lot of candy throughout the evening, get into a pillow fight, play board games, and really just let themselves push away anything that could disrupt this most perfect of days.

With both Unicorns starting to feel sleepy, Trixie does her best to keep from giving into her exhaustion. Starlight is pretty sleepy, too, and is caught off guard as, with the last of her energy, Trixie grabs her phone and starts to make a short video to share just how happy she is and how Starlight helped make it happen.

Starlight may be a little nervous about this video being seen by Sunburst, or the students at 'The School of Friendship', but she, like Trixie, is too tired and just ready to allow the lavender scent, which is being fed in through the ventalation system, along with the ultra plush carpet and pillowy soft diaper to take her off to a very sweet dream.

I would imagine that, given how tired they would be, Trixie may not remember whether-or-not she uploaded the video. The only thing she would remember is snuggling against Starlight while Starlight instinctively cuddles into her. The two then fall asleep and stay asleep until Celestia's sun shines its light through the prism-like window that blocks any creature from seeing in, or out, but does create a beautiful cascade of colors as the sun moves across it.

I like pretty much your short story of this foal hotel that you describe Yosh. There is an episode I like pretty much in the eight season where these two go into an adventure while making some magic shows here and there. I can imagine how in the middle of the road, a kind of place like that could be. Sounds not only plausible following the logic of the show, but also it creates a really interesting scenery to explore. I also like pretty much the idea of that kind of "friends sleepover" that they made in there, that would be really nice :)

The only thing is that this picture occurs during daytime and outdoors, so, probably it has more sense if it happens the morning after visiting this place. Still waking up Trixie could have this silly idea and Starlight may be a bit unsure about it as you mentioned here. Trixie trends to be selfish so it has sense that she wants to record a video to make herself a bit more famous no matter if Starlight doesn't like the idea too much.

What is fun for me, and I hope is okay with you, is seeing just how close I can imagine your pictures through my imagination's interpretation of your tags and descriptions.

Starlight Glimmer quickly became one of my most favorite characters in the show. This means I watched 'The Road To Friendship' a few times to see how Trixie and Starlight interact when it is just the two of them without any pony else to make either of them feel uncomfortable / worried about judgment being passed upon them.

Do you remember the episode in Season 8, 'The Parent Map, where we saw Starlight's father? He treated her like she was still a foal through most of the episode. I imagine that, before Starlight left home and started 'Our town' / 'Equality', her father was not worried about his daughter growing up too fast. I would go further to say he encouraged her foal behavior until she realized that was not how she should be treated.

Upon reaching a certain age and seeing other fillies not being coddled / babied, like she was by her dad, could have been what started her desire to learn magic and do a more adult thing by taking her heartbreak / sadness over Sunburst leaving into her own hooves.

Now, as other episodes in Season 7, 8, and 9 show, Starlight does have a lot of foal-like tendencies. Do you remember when she learned the spell to change herself and sunburst back into little kids? She also never gave up on playing 'Dragon Pit'. She even brought the board game with her when 'On The Road To Friendship' with Trixie.

Now, in looking back on Starlight's behavior during the series, I am certain she would put up little resistance to having a 'Padded Playdate' with Trixie. Perhaps 'the Great & Powerful Trixie' guessed at Starlight having a secret desire to feel like a foal again?

Trixie was really helped out by Starlight. So I am sure spending a day and/or night in diapers together would not be too much to do to help her friend feel happy.

As this video is being taken, I imagine Starlight is more bashful about being caught liking to be like how her dad was seen treating her in 'The Parent map'. She may then worry that some of her past behaviors would get Twilight to learn her 'Little Secret'.

However, deep down, she is probably the happiest she has ever been in a long time. The video would be stored safely away by herself and Trixie, if questioned, would dismiss any gossip / teasing as it being just a preview of an upcoming theme for her magic show.

Yes. I do remember all that you mentioned. To be honest I didn't remember all this context when I made the drawing, but it has a lot of sense. Starlight seems to like pretty much the idea of being young again in certain circumstances. During the sixth season I think that we can see for example how she usually feel unsure about behaving adult enough to be a good friendship student. Starlight is for sure a nice characters with a lot of layers to analyze yeah. Also, knowing how good friend she became I'm pretty sure that she wouldn't mind at all to follow Trixie in her stuff even if she doesn't feel 100% sure.
