Can't breathe fire without a special power. I'm still trying to work on the design. Anyway, once Draco gets the powerup, his horns change to match the powerup (kinda like the hats Kirby wear, when he gets a copy ability). What I'm also thinking is that Draco also learn new moves when he gets a powerup in the future, but I for now I'm gonna keep it simple for now.
Draco's firebreath let's him attack enemies from a distance. It won't effect the environment, though (again I'm trying to keep things simple, maybe in the future). So what I'm thinking about with powerups, is that after you clear the level and you still have the powerup, you lose it, BUT you get in extra life in return, so long as you don't lose it. The reason why, is so that the game won't be so easy. Powerups do make the game fun, but if you look at games like the Mario franchise it makes the game easy, especially for experienced players. So I'm trying to balance it out for both beginners and experts.
Yeah, I'm still researching, but I'll see what I come up with. In the meantime enjoy Draco breathing fire.
