The piece is good and the composition works.
Some cool things you could think about to make the piece stronger:
1. The clouds have a consistent detail. There is no evidence of billowing or turbulence or just changes in form of the gas. I personally like to use the mixer brush to give various forms to clouds to try to make them more alive.
2. The clouds and smoke still cast shadows. Cloud shadowing is tough but it adds volume and helps it do cool things like wrap around the buildings in the piece.

Freaking amazing for feeling so real and also so dynamic. The design for the flying vehicle is awesome, too.
