After hours of sitting in her boyfriend's belly, Tanu's ears were tired of listening through.
"Are you almost done yet? It's almost closing." Tanu asked. Hund was still on the monkey bars trying to sustain "the burn" in his upper body muscles.
"I'll finish when I'll finish." He grumbled. Tanu sighed to herself exasperated. She agreed to let Hund use her as extra weight for an hour at most to give herself a break. At this point, she's spent half the day in the cavernous muck-lined space and would like a change of scenery. To help with her ears, Tanu unplugged her earbuds, allowing the music to blast from her phone speakers.
Hund's ears twitched, trying to pinpoint the noise. "Tanu, you know I hate that."
"Hate what?" Tanu asked cheekily. "This?" she said turning up the volume louder. Despite the layers of fat and muscle, Tanu's music caught the attention of people who passed by the monkey bars.
"Didn't think the big guy liked that stuff" Hund heard one person say. He then heard another voice laugh.
"Tanu, turn that crap down," Hund growled, but Tanu only turned up the volume. More onlookers listened to Hund's musical belly blast late 90s girl group music as he swayed in the air. Hund repositioned his head behind his thick arms to hide his blushing face.
"You know, if you let me out, I can listen to this away from your workout space." Hund was in a bind. He needed to keep up his intimidating persona but this music really isn't helping. But at the same time, people seeing him barf up his prey because they played music he doesn't like seems weak on most pred standards.
"If you stop the music, I'll let you out soon," Hund said.
"You told me that an hour ago!" Tanu replied and played the music to its loudest. With no other options left, Hund resorted to his last option. He knew Tanu may get mad after this but she'll understand, right?
This is a sequel to Husky Bars (which you can check out here: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/41690308/). Wanted to show after my last submission that Hund can still stand up for himself (at least while Tanu is in his belly). Thanks again to Xanfire for making this piece!
Xanfire is one of the few artists I've worked with who goes beyond the prompts I give them and really enhances the idea. I didn't think about the dialogue or making the lighting a sunset it works SO well. This shoutout is a little longer than the usual ones I give because if they are seeing this I just wanted to make sure they know I really appreciated the work they put into this, and I hope to be able to get stuff from them soon.

Hope they aren't going to be churned up over what music they are listening to.
