I've been testing some new brushes and I ended up making this pic of Ali with his weapon of choice, the Macuahuitl!

I managed to actually figure out how to write Ali's surname with Mayan glyphs! Hun-Chowen is the name of one of the Monkey Twins in the Mayan creation myth the Popul Vuh and the name translates into "One-Artisan" or "One-Monkey" depending on which version of Mayan you're using. The glyph is used in the Mayan calendar so I thought it would be a pretty nice fit on Ali's weapon. I based the drawing of the monkey scribe off of some ceramic artwork and a Mayan Classic Period head piece I found. They used to draw monkeys very chubby back then and I just think that's kinda cute.

I've never drawn a Macuahuitl before so I figured I'd design a standard one so I can make sure my measurements were perfect. I'll probably end up drawing it to be less traditional in the future so I can make the design my own but I guess we'll see. My other monkey OC's have other obsidian weapons I wanted to design so that might end up taking priority.
