Decided I wanted to redesign ff7 Aeris’s outfit and embellish it fully in kind of a Lolita fashion, and with angel wings to represent her role in the life stream.
Pony base is generation 1 Sweet Heart Sister pose, coated in white gesso to give the acrylics a texture to bond to. Full body repaint in flesh tone acrylics eyes painted in my realism style. All paint work sealed in Artists Varnish.
Wings are g4 princess wings I painted like the color of the life stream.
Mane and tail are rooted in nylon hair in the colors burnished brown and amaretto.
Bangs and pony tail styled in my hair gel method.
Outfit is hand-stitched, and I pretty much embellished it with extra ruffles. Beige ruffles on the boots, ruffles on skirt and bodice, and ruffled the sleeves. Instead of putting pockets on her burgundy jacket, I put a large beige pocket on her pale pink skirt train.
All of the aqua beads detailing her attire is to represent the white materia. Did some metallic detail along bottom hem of skirt train, gold metallic vinyl for the gauntlets and some rhinestone detailing.
Added a few strings of beads of material and seashells on the hair and tail, added some fake flowers to the hair. Bought a tiny craft basket and glued beads that are materia-like in it, and some faux flowers. The materia beads kinda hold the flowers in place.
